We are very excited about our new charity partnerships. We have been working hard for some time to get to this point with the lunch company and the day has finally arrived!
We have team up a selected number of charities and the Lunch company has offered to donate 2% of your net order, before taxes, to a charity that you choose.
This 2% will not be added to you bill nor have our prices increased. We have hired Wade group of chartered accounts of Burlington, On. to Audit our books on a quarterly basis or as they see fit.
Although we would like to help as many charities as possible, we will review the list on a quarterly basis and possibly switch the list around. We’re still kinda new at this and are not sure how it will work. Our goal is to increase this amount to 10% and beyond as the lunch company grows
...and we hope your as excited about this as we are and hope that you will share the news.
below is a list of charities that we currently support:

Halton Women's Place www.haltonwomensplace.com
Halton Women’s Place had come a long way. From a 14 bed facility that opened almost 30 years ago in Milton to where we are today – offering more than 50 emergency beds on a daily basis to abused women and their dependent children. While it is wonderful that we have these spaces to offer, it is sad to know that we are operating at, and at most times, over capacity month after month. Last year more than 800 women and 1000 children used the services we provide through our Residential and Transitional and Housing support programs. This is a 14% increase in just one year!
At Halton Women’s Place we value our clients above all and strive to provide the kind of environment where women and children will feel safe and comfortable as they make the difficult choices that could change their lives forever.

ROCK (Reach Out Center For Kids) www.rockonline.ca
There are 530,000 children in Ontario that have a mental health disorder. Statistically that represents1in 5 of our children. Of these same children 300,000 have co-morbidities that complicate their diagnosis and treatment. In Ontario, Children’s mental health organizations currently have the capacity to serve less than 1 in 3 of these children. Despite this, as an agency we have increased our capacity to service clients by 600% in the last five years.
ROCK helps infants, children, teens and adults live healthier lives through: early assessment and diagnosis; effective and innovative treatment and therapy; and prevention and early intervention for those having, or at risk of developing, mental health problems or mental illness. We are the largest accredited children's mental health organization in the Region of Halton. ROCK promotes positive child development through programs and services that strengthen the ability of families and the community to raise and nurture children.
